Vertigo is our unique red blend of estate grown Merlot (50%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Barbera (30%). There are aromas of elderberry, blackberry, plum and spice. On the palate there is flavours of dried srtawberries, mocha and leather. It is a medium bodied wine with a soft velvety texture and a lingering finish.
These grapes are all estate grown and handpicked in small lots.
This wine was fermented in small lots. It spent around three weeks on skins before being pressed and racked to barrel. It was aged in 50% new oak, with a combination of French and American oak. It was aged for about 10 months in barrel before being bottled.
