This wine is a blend of Gewurztraminer (39%), Chardonnay (26%), Viognier (20%) and Riesling (15%). The nose is vibrant with aromas of rose petals, lychee and spice. It has tropical flavours of banana, mango, as well as apricot and orange, concluding with a long, refreshing finish.
Silver- Cascadia Wine Competition 2017
The grapes for this wine were sourced from three different vineyards. The Gewurztraminer came from the Brewer vineyard on the Skaha Bluffs, while the Chardonnay came from the Hartman vineyard north of Naramata. The Riesling and Viognier came from the Tightrope vineyard.
All the grapes were handpicked, whole cluster pressed and fermented seperately. Once the fermentations were complete, the different components were thoughtfully blended to create this great summer sipper.
