Vertigo can be a sensation of whirling or giddiness, especially with looking down from a great height. This is the feeling we are trying to invoke with this wine, which is a unique blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Barbera.

It is fruit forward on the nose with aroma of berries, blackcurrant and prunes, along with chocolate and leather on the palate.  It is a medium bodied wine with a soft velvety texture and a lingering finish.

This wine was hand picked and fermented in small lots.  It spent around three weeks on skins before being pressed and racked to barrel.  It was aged in 50% new oak, with a combination of French and American oak.  It was aged for about 10 months in barrel before being bottled.
